Device comprises input interface for the encoding values reception and envelope generator for the audio signal envelope generation configured to generate the aggregating function depending on the encoding values, wherein the aggregating function contains plurality of aggregation points, each of which contains the argument value and the aggregation value, wherein the aggregating function is monotonically increasing and each of the encoding values indicates one of the argument values and the aggregation values of one of the aggregation function aggregation points, and for the audio signal envelope generation so, that the audio signal envelope contains plurality of the envelope points, each of which contains the argument value and the envelope value, at that, the audio signal envelope point is assigned to each of the aggregation function aggregation points so, that the envelope point argument value is equal to the aggregation point argument value, and so, that each of the audio signal envelope points envelope value depends on the aggregation function one aggregation point aggregation value.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of the audio signals envelope encoding and decoding.
