RING FRAMEWORK FOR ANNULOPLASTY OF THE TRICUSPID VALVE OF THE HEART, THE METHOD OF ITS MANUFACTURING AND APPLICATION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61F2/24

Abstract RU 2663157 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery, and can be used in the treatment of valvular heart diseases, particularly with annuloplasty of the tricuspid valve. Method of manufacturing an open ring framework for annuloplasty of the tricuspid valve of the heart involves building a computer model of the framework, shaping and polishing. First, an open loop is formed from the preform for the carcass and closed loops are formed at the ends by a first forming matrix having a rod for winding the wire on a cylindrical base and two cylindrical pins for forming loops and removable clamping plates. Preform for the framework mounted on the matrix is heated in a vacuum oven, followed by cooling in water, then the spatial shape of the framework is made with the aid of a second shaping matrix consisting of clamping elements and a central unit with a horizontal groove formed on the outer surface for filling the framework preform. Geometry of the central unit and the groove repeat the shape of the tricuspid valve fibrous ring. Preform fixed on the matrix is heated in a vacuum oven, then cooled in water, then the framework is removed from the matrix, polished and passivated. Use of the ring framework for annuloplasty as a prosthetic device supplementing the natural valve and fixing the tricuspid fibrous ring outwardly is disclosed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring the correspondence of the spatial form of the natural tricuspid fibrous ring.
