DISINFECTION OF RESIDENTIAL AREAS AND TERRITORIES WITH APPLICATION OF LIGHT PULSES WITH MODULATED FLOW OF POWER AND LIGHTING SYSTEMS WITH COMPENSATION OF VISIBLE LIGHT BETWEEN PULSES Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61L2/10

Abstract RU 2663459 C1

FIELD: lighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of light disinfection. Disinfection device includes: pulsed source of bactericidal light, wherein the bactericidal light generated from the source is projected to the outside of the device; power regulator circuitry for applying a starting voltage to a light source at a frequency greater than about 20 Hz; electrical scheme of power supply; one or more electric charge storage devices; electric circuit of the pulse duration; sensor for determining the presence of a person in an area extending at least 1.0 meter from the disinfection device; CPU; program instructions executed by the processor to suppress and complete the generation of light from the light source after detecting the presence of a person by the presence detector. In this case, one or more electric charge storage devices and a pulse width electrical circuit are configured to allocate a predetermined amount of stored energy for a set period of time such that the energy flux of ultraviolet light in the wavelength range between 200 nm and 320 nm, generated in a pulsed source of bactericidal light, was between about 20 J/m2 and about 1,000 J/m2.

EFFECT: invention provides increased effectiveness and strength of the effects of disinfection devices.
