SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely a hepatotropic magnetic resonance contrast medium, which is a microsphere whose shell is formed from a biodegradable polymer-polylactide, and the inner volume is filled with gel-forming polysaccharide – starch, and contains a water-soluble chelating complex based on gadolinium Gd3 – disodium salt of gadopentetic acid, the mass ratio of the components of the biodegradable polymer: gelling polysaccharide: gadolinium chelate complex is 32.3 % : 4.8 % : 62.9 % consequently.

EFFECT: invention provides a higher content of gadolinium complex in the preparation, which allows to reduce the administered dose and to increase the contrast of the resulting image.
