FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of chemical-pharmaceutical industry, more specifically to the contrast composition for topical administration, exhibiting X-ray contrast properties, which contains: a gelling agent - sucrose acetate isobutyrate, a radiopaque agent - 6,6'-(2,4,6-triiodophenoxy)acetoxy-iso-butyric saccharose and a biologically compatible organic solvent - ethanol; as well as to a set for recording an X-ray image consisting of said contrast composition, a syringe and a needle for injecting a contrast composition into a body adapted to be placed on an open end of the syringe. Also disclosed is a method of detecting an x-ray image of a mammalian body and a method for combined radiotherapy and X-ray imaging of a target tissue in a mammal, providing for stage of introduction of specified contrast composition into respectively predetermined place or predetermined target tissue in mammalian body.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a low viscosity composition which is easily administered parenterally and demonstrates good visualization.
