FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power supply systems for charged particle accelerators of direct action, in particular to pulsed power supplies with inductive energy storage devices. Pulse shaping device is made on the basis of a double inductive forming line consisting of two identical lines, to the beginning of one a power supply is connected, at the end of the other an additional switch is installed. When it is opened on a matched load, included between the lines, a pulse is formed whose voltage polarity coincides with the polarity of the power supply voltage.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the formation of pulses by means of a double inductive forming line, on a matched load, a pulse with a voltage of the same polarity, and the polarity of the source voltage, that is an extension of the arsenal of means of the same purpose.
