SUBSTANCE: method involves concurrently determining methemoglobin and sulfhemoglobin concentration in patient blood. Then, methemoglobin-to-sulfhemoglobin transformation coefficient value is calculated. Methemoglobin concentration being from 1.47 to 1.42% and sulfhemoglobin concentration from 2.27 to 2.44% and methemoglobin-to-sulfhemoglobin transformation coefficient value from 0.65 to 0.58, early vascular complications caused by I type diabetes mellitus are diagnosed.
EFFECT: high accuracy of early stage diagnosis.
