SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alcohol industry. Method for increasing the efficiency of grain beer processing consists in correcting its pH before the distillation, before increasing the pH by 0.4–3.2 units, for which the grain mash is mixed with an alkaline reagent forming salts suitable for use as food additives, after which the modified grain mash is distilled by known methods.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the yield of brittle distillate to 15 %, ethyl alcohol to 6,6 %, to improve the quality of the brazing distillate, including reducing the content of esters to 67 %, to improve the organoleptic properties of the produced bard.
