FIELD: processing of metals.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to manufacture a rotary article, for example a working wheel, by welding with a cold metal transfer. Rotary article comprises a circular element and vanes arranged thereon defining at least one internal flow passage. Rotatable substrate rotates around a central axis and has a peripheral surface for depositing a filler material thereon. According to the digital representation of the rotational article, a welding path is determined on said rotational substrate. Welding with cold metal transfer is applied layer by layer of filler metal to the surface of the rotational substrate along a given welding path. First, a circular structure is obtained by rotating said rotational substrate. Blade structure is then applied by moving the welding torch relative to said substrate along a direction intersecting the circular structure while holding said rotational substrate without rotation or rotating the rotational substrate. Separate the rotational substrate from the rotational article.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to form a rotational article with a shape close to the final shape.
