SUBSTANCE: additive manufacturing, namely the production of metal products by layer-by-layer electric arc surfacing of wire filler material with automatic adjustment of layer-by-layer electric arc surfacing modes. A method for the additive manufacturing of metal products with automatic control of layer-by-layer surfacing modes includes sequential layer-by-layer construction of a product from a base material in accordance with the created three-dimensional model of the specified product, while layer-by-layer construction is carried out with a wire filler material in modes that include current strength of l = 40-250 A, arc voltage of U = 17-23 V, filler wire diameter of dw = 0.8-1.2 mm, shielding gas flow Qgas = of 6-12 l/min, surfacing speed of vs = 14-20 m/h and wire feed speed of sf = 110-250 m/h, and in the process of layer-by-layer surfacing, automatic control of surfacing modes is carried out, which consists in establishing specified limit temperature values Tl for a specific steel grade based on the temperature of its critical points, constant monitoring of the temperature of the molten bath Tb and heat affected zones Thaz, and when the temperature of the molten bath is reached Tb and heat affected zones Thaz set limit values, the deposition rate automatically increases and the current decreases, and when the temperature drops to the lower limit value, the deposition rate gradually decreases and the current increases.
EFFECT: improving the quality of products obtained by layer-by-layer electric arc surfacing by regulating surfacing modes depending on the temperature of the molten bath and the heat-affected zone metal.
