FIELD: medicine; sports.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and sports and is designed to effectively assess a person's ability to perceive and orient in space. Result is achieved by placing three or more mobile objects on the horizontal surface, controlled remotely by the software and hardware complex, and the test subject is placed in the center of the contour enveloping these mobile objects. Direction and/or speed of movement of the contour are varied according to a program over a given period of time unpredictably for the examined person. Subject evaluates the transformation and movement of the contour and changes his/her position in such a way as to remain in the center of the contour enveloping the objects. Movements of the contour and the subject are recorded with a video camera located at a specified height above the horizontal surface, the video image is transferred to the computer of the hardware and software complex; the computer, from the moment of change of area, or direction, or speed of contour movement, periodically, with a specified period, calculates the position of the center of the contour enveloping the objects and the center of the position of the subject, the distance between the centers. Software and hardware complex forms a contour of three or more separate remotely controlled balls of a given size, located at a given distance from each other. Task of the subject is to move for a given time in the center of the contour, without going beyond the limit of the deviation specified by the researcher. Software and hardware complex registers the actions of the subject, forms a bank of data on the deviation of the subject from the center of the contour and provides the subject with audible signals in real time when the maximum allowed value of deviation from the center of the contour is exceeded. By minimum allowed value of deviation from the center of the contour for a given time at which the subject does not allow exceeding the maximum allowable deviations, assess the ability of a person to perceive and orient in space.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of evaluating a person's ability to perceive and orient in space by calculating the results of human displacement.
