FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Intraoperative biometry and/or refractive measurements are captured using a pressure sensor associated with the eye and configured to detect intraocular pressure; and an intraoperative diagnostics device including a control unit connected to the pressure sensor and arranged to actuate the intraoperative diagnostics device to capture the intraoperative biometry and/or refractive measurements when the pressure sensor detects that the intraocular pressure value is reduced from an elevated value to the natural intraocular pressure, and while the intraocular pressure value is kept equal to the natural intraocular pressure for a period of time.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to automate the process of capturing intraoperative biometry and/or refractive measurements due to the wireless connection of the pressure sensor with the device for intraoperative measurements and improving the accuracy of determining the target value of intraocular pressure, and also provides measurement of the actual fluid pressure inside the eye instead of a mechanical measurement of the resistance of the cornea.
