SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transport of oil and gas and can be used for ballasting of underwater pipelines and pipelines constructed or repaired in water-flooded trenches. Device for ballasting an underwater pipeline includes paired horizontal cylindrical weighting agents located to the right and left of the underwater pipeline, they are connected by power belts covering the underwater pipeline from above. Paired horizontal cylindrical weighting agents are located in the pit and are connected by screeds located under the underwater pipeline. Specified gap between the weighting elements when installed on an underwater pipeline is provided by spacer wooden beams.

EFFECT: technical aims of the invention are the creation of a device for ballasting an underwater pipeline that is resistant to displacement and tilting, as well as having a low labor intensity installation.
