Method for determining information about the performance of a subject is carried out using a system for determining information on indicators of vital activity. Marker for the subject is used. Determine information about the indicators of vital activity from the recorded radiation reflected from the skin of the subject. System comprises a marker, a remote unit for recording the radiation emitted by the marker toward the skin of the subject and reflected from the skin, and an analytic unit for determining information on vital signs from the recorded radiation reflected from the skin of the subject. Marker area for light emission contains fluorescent pigments and/or luminescent pigments. Fluorescent pigment converts light from a first wavelength into light with a second wavelength, where the first wavelength is the wavelength of invisible light. Marker contains means for attaching a marker to the subject.

EFFECT: it is possible to provide contactless measurements of vital signs in dark rooms, for example, at night, or in cases where the optical spectrum of ambient light does not contain the wavelengths that are required for a particular measurement.
