SUBSTANCE: use to convert heat into an electric field. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that the converter of heat into the energy of an alternate electric current contains an alternate current circuit of an arbitrary frequency, in which a multilayered film is included, a semiconductor layer is placed between its parallel metal electrodes, the real part of whose dielectric permittivity ε' has a negative value ε'm<ε'<0, this semiconductor layer is separated from one or two electrodes by a layer or layers of an electrically conductive medium with a dielectric conductivity ε1≥1, thin layers of dielectric are deposited on the outer surfaces of the film electrodes, two conductors are connected to the electrodes to connect the film to the electrical circuit; the film is placed in a heat-conducting medium (air, water, etc.) or in vacuum, the limiting value of ε' is: ε'm=-ε1d/d1, where d and d1 – the thickness of the layers of the semiconductor and the non-conductive medium of the film, respectively.

EFFECT: provided possibility of increasing the strength and power of the current, as well as the amplitude of the electrical voltage on the elements of the circuit.
