FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser technology, namely to pulsed solid lasers. Laser emitter comprises an active element and a parallel pump source in the form of a line of laser diodes, a prism is introduced between the pump source and the active element, in cross-section, representing two wedges with a common base lying in the plane passing through the line of laser diodes and the optical axis of the active element.
EFFECT: technical result is providing the possibility of increasing the pump efficiency and laser output energy.
