FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to create anti-radar coatings, materials and devices that modify the background-target images of vehicles and other objects by applying or covering a protected object with an anti-radar coating manufactured in accordance with a proposed method. Method for changing a background-target image of an object formed by a radar station is that a distributed RLC circuit with controllable parameters that allows to counteract the recognition of the protected object, are obtained due to the fact that the radio-absorbing coatings to the surface of the protected object are applied in the form of spots or strips so that the distance between spots or stripes is less or equal to a limiting linear resolution of the radar station, which performs the detection and recognition of the protected object, and the smallest size of the spots or strips themselves is not less than the limiting linear resolution of the radar station, which detect and recognize the protected object. Proposed method provides the development of a method for applying to one or more surfaces a masked object, camouflage device, or camouflage fabric, or a nonwoven sheet material masking an object, a set of spots or strips of any of the existing radio-absorbing materials, which in combination with the surface of the most protected object and the proposed approach to their placement on the surface of the object will lead to its anonymization. For efficiency, the spots or stripes of the radio-absorbing material can be applied directly to the object using, for example, a double-sided adhesive tape.
EFFECT: invention of objects that reduce visibility when detected by a radar, and can be used in the creation of anti-radar coatings, materials and devices that modify the background-target images of vehicles and other objects by applying or covering the protected object with the anti-radar coating manufactured in accordance with the proposed method.
