SUBSTANCE: over-spray separation device for over-sprayed cabin air from coating units, especially painting systems, includes separating unit (50) through which cabin air is saturated with redistribution and in which the over-spray is separated. Separating unit (50) is in the form of a replaceable structural unit with filter body (56), inlet port (58) and filter unit (60). Saturated with over-spray airflow by air guide device (38) is directed to separation unit (50). Separation unit (50) has inlet flange (82) that at least defines inlet port (58) and air guide device (38) includes connecting branch (46) which, in an operating position of separation unit (50) is immersed in its inlet port (58) such that connecting branch (46) is surrounded by inlet flange (82) of separation unit (50).
EFFECT: object of the invention, therefore, is to provide a device of the type mentioned at the outset which takes these considerations into account.
