SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely ophthalmosurgery. For the plasty of the iris under massive traumatic iridodialysis, the iris root is fixed to the sclera by U-shaped sutures. After removal of iridodialysis, the purse suture is placed on the iris sphincter, centering the pupil and narrowing it to 3–4 mm.
EFFECT: method allows to achieve good functional and anatomical results of treatment by preventing postoperative pupillary deformity and performing surgical intervention through paracentesis of the cornea without opening the eyeball with large incisions.
