FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the medical equipment. Surgical end effector comprises a drive system, comprising a proximal portion having a first movable element, in which a first aperture is formed, and a distal portion having a second movable element in which a second aperture is formed. In the first aperture and the second aperture there is a removable pin for releasably connecting the second movable element to the first movable element. Pin is movable together with the first movable element and the second movable element when the pin is located in the first aperture and the second aperture. Drive system is placed inside the housing. Longitudinal groove is formed in the housing. Pin passes through the longitudinal groove in the housing.
EFFECT: invention relate to surgical instruments and, in various embodiments, to surgical cutting and stapling instruments and staple cartridges therefor that are designed to cut and staple tissue.
