SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and can be used with a surgical stapling instrument. End effector includes a housing that is configured for operable attachment to a surgical instrument, and a status assembly arrangement for provide an indication on the housing of a linear location of at least one of the first and second end effector actuators. First end effector drive system is configured to linearly move the first end effector actuator in response to first rotary motions. Second end effector drive system is configured to linearly move the second end effector actuator between a beginning and ending position in response to second rotary motions.
EFFECT: proposed device can be used with a surgical stapling instrument.
