FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical and pharmaceutical industry and is a method of processing a bovine xenogeneic tendon implant comprising the steps of removing a xenoantigen from the tendon, enhancing the strength of the tendon including the treatment with a sugar glucose solution, sterilizing the tendon and chemically rinsing the tendon, wherein one or more of said steps consist of contacting said bovine xenogeneic tendon with cleaning agents, while tension is applied to the tendon, and the magnitude of said tension is between 267 and 334 Newtons, and, in addition, where the implant is dipped into the inside of said cleaning agents in the processing chamber during processing.
EFFECT: invention provides more efficient purification of the xenogeneic implant and reduced damage, which can be caused by cleaning agents.
