TECHNOLOGY OF MAKING AN IMPLANT FOR BONE TISSUE REPLACEMENT Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61L27/14 A61L27/54

Abstract RU 2708639 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical devices and can be used in producing implants or transplants for traumatology, orthopedics, maxillofacial surgery. Disclosed is a method of producing an implant for bone tissue replacement, characterized by that mechanical cleaning of a bull's bone from soft tissues, spongy bone tissue is recovered in the form of a bone block, bone block is treated, the treated bone block is impregnated with an antimicrobial preparation solution containing vancomycin, using amorphous L, D polylactide with molecular weight of 18 kDa and reduced viscosity of 0.2 dl/g, performing supercritical fluid extraction of a bone block using carbon dioxide CO2, obtained implant is frozen and lyophilized, gas sterilization is performed with subsequent evacuation and aeration. Invention provides marked antimicrobial activity with the dosed prolonged release of the antimicrobial preparation in the implantation area.

EFFECT: implant is a biological support frame for growth of bone tissue, has osteoinductive properties, is able to transform undifferentiated mesenchymal cells into osteoblasts, does not cause immunological rejection, base for its manufacturing is widely available.
