SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular, to compositions of iron-based alloys that can be used in engineering. Said iron-based alloy contains, wt. %: manganese 0.1–0.16; chromium 0.2–0.3; molybdenum 0.3–0.5; copper 1.5–2.0; titanium 0.06–0.1; calcium 0.0003–0.0005; vanadium 16.0–16.4; rest is iron.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high impact strength.
