SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to hemostatic antibacterial agent, its use, method of preparation, to medical product based on an antibacterial agent and its use, wherein the hemostatic antibacterial agent is a supramolecular complex in the form of a powder, containing oxidized powdered cellulose and vancomycin, linked by non-covalent intermolecular hydrogen bonds, in which the content of vancomycin is 20 to 40 wt. %.
EFFECT: invention ensures obtaining stable supramolecular complex.
