SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to professional diseases, and can be used to prevent the disease of the miner with dust bronchitis. For this purpose, carbon samples are taken from the formation, the content of volatile substances and maternal dust in the coal is measured, the dust content of the mine air is measured and the oxygen content in it. Thus, the level of dustiness of mine air and the oxygen content in the air are determined during the destruction of coal by a mining machine, additionally determine the general and fine dust load on the miner's body and conduct measures to reduce the dustiness of the mine air in the destruction of coal by the combine.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the likelihood of the miner's disease with dusty bronchitis due to the timely determination of the total and fine dust load with the timely withdrawal of miners from the hazardous work area while maintaining their ability to work.
