SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to nutritional compositions, preferably intended for feeding infants, children, mothers, for aging care, for people of advanced age or for a healthy diet. Composition enriched with iron saccharate and a highly concentrated microencapsulated long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acid (LCPUSFA) is proposed. Method for preventing or reducing the oxidation of LCPUSFA in a composition, as well as a method for preventing or reducing the foreign flavor of LCPUSFA to the composition, comprising adding to the composition a LCPUSFA in microencapsulated form and iron in the form of ferric sucrose, where LCPUSFA is microencapsulated in a vitreous matrix of milk proteins and glucose.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a composition with improved organoleptic properties and improved storage stability.
