COMPOSITION OF LIPIDS FOR USE IN INFANTS AND YOUNG CHILDREN, PROMOTING INTESTINAL COMFORT AND OPTIMAL ABSORPTION OF FAT AND CALCIUM Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A23L33/12

Abstract RU 2749672 C2

FIELD: nutritional compositions for infants and young children.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nutritional composition for infants and young children. The nutritional composition for infants or young children contains proteins, carbohydrates and lipids, and these lipids contain triacylglycerols (TAG) of fatty acids (FA), and these TAG fatty acids contain stearic, palmitic and myristic esters. At the same time, the total amount of stearic, palmitic and myristic esters at the sn-1(3) position in the TAG is less than 13.0% (wt %/wt %) of the TAG, and myristic acid is up to 3.6% of all FA, palmitic acid is up to 11.1% of all FA, stearic acid is up to 4.6% of all FA (wt %/wt %). The lipids contain a mixture of oils selected from: a) from 17.3 to 21.1% rapeseed oil, from 11.5 to 14.1% sunflower oil, from 41.9 to 51.3% sunflower oil with a high content of oleic acid and from 18.0 to 22.0% coconut oil; b) from 16.9 to 20.7% rapeseed oil, from 11.3 to 13.9% sunflower oil, from 42.1 to 51.5% sunflower oil with a high content of oleic acid and from 17.5 to 21.5% coconut oil or с) from 23.9 to 29.3% milk fat, from 15.8 to 19.4% rapeseed oil, from 8.2 to 10.0% sunflower oil, from 39.2 to 48.0% sunflower oil with a high content of oleic acid.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a composition for improving the homeostasis of calcium and the absorption of calcium and lipids, increasing the retention of calcium and lipids, and/or reducing the formation of soap with palmitic acid, or stearic acid, or myristic acid in infants or young children. The composition is also used to increase bone mineralization, increase bone strength, and/or increase bone mineral density in infants or young children.
