SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to nephrology and urology, and can be used to diagnose urolithiasis. Method for diagnosis of urolithiasis includes preliminary preparation of a patient's serum sample, study of a prepared serum sample using IR spectroscopy, determination of the peak height of absorption bands with maxima on the IR spectrum 1,170; 1,140; 1,130; 1,070; 1,060; 1,025 cm-1, calculation of peak height to peak ratio at 1,170 cm-1 to the height of the peak with a maximum of 1,140 cm-1, at 1,130 cm-1 to the height of the peak with a maximum of 1,025 cm-1, at 1,070 cm-1 to the height of the peak with a maximum of 1,060 cm-1 and at a ratio of 1,170/1,140, equal to 0.28±0.05, a ratio of 1,130/1,025, equal to 0.67±0.10, and at a ratio of 1,070/1,060, equal to 1.01±0.09, diagnose urolithiasis.
EFFECT: invention allows to diagnose with high accuracy urolithiasis without large material and time costs.
