SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for diagnostics of sealing surfaces of shut-off valves. Method for diagnostics of sealing surfaces of shut-off valves, which includes a connection of the electric drive to the shut-off valve and the subsequent measurement and fixation of electrical signals, characterized in that the electrical signal from the phase conductor coming to the electric drive for the shut-off valve opening and closing time interval is fixed, while the measurement of the electrical signal is carried out by measuring the current with an external measuring transducer – current clamp, the signal is fixed by an oscilloscope, made with the possibility of plotting graphs reflecting the dependence of the mean square values of the current.

EFFECT: invention provides increased accuracy of diagnostics of sealing surfaces of shut-off valves.
