SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a location identifier. For this purpose, it is provided: obtaining geographical coordinates of a location; transformation of geographical coordinates into one unique value n; converting one unique value of n to a unique group of a set of values; converting a set of values into an equal set of corresponding words; and providing a plurality of words as a location identifier, and a method for identifying the location, comprising: obtaining a location identifier for the location; location identifier containing a plurality of words; converting a set of words into a unique group from an equal set of corresponding values; converting a unique group from a set of values to one unique value of n; transforming of one unique value of n into geographical coordinates; and the output of geographical coordinates.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide the ability to identify the location message in a user-friendly manner.
