FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology and concerns an installation for the material and solution analysis by the method of volumetric light scattering indicatrix. Installation includes a radiation source, a measuring element, a measuring unit, a power supply and a sample holder. As a radiation source, a low-power red laser is used. Measuring element is made in the form of an arc with pin-photodiodes placed on it and is capable of rotation with respect to the radiation source at certain time intervals by a predetermined angle by means of a servo-drive, to the shaft of which one end of the measuring element is fixed. Second end of the measuring element is fixed with a ball bearing around the axis of the radiation source. Sample is located inside the sphere of rotation of the measuring element. Working area into which the sample is placed is isolated from external illumination by means of a hemispherical case, which has a light-absorbing surface and is located around the trajectory of the motion of the measuring element.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasedinformativity of measurements of volumetric light scattering indicatrices.
