SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a version of pyruvate dehydrogenase containing at least one amino acid substitution in amino acids in positions 190–205 or in amino acids in positions 415–440 of SEQ ID NO: 1. Disclosed is a polynucleotide encoding said variant of pyruvate dehydrogenase. Disclosed is a microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium, which produces an L-amino acid containing said version of pyruvate dehydrogenase. Disclosed is a method of producing L-amino acid using said microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium.

EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to increase ability to produce L-amino acid in modified strain as compared to control strain.
