SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of control over the course of technological processes by examining the properties of organic and inorganic substances and liquids by electrophysical methods, in particular, to operational methods for controlling and regulating the stage of transesterification during the production of alkyd varnishes. Method consists in that during the synthesis of alkyd resins under the effect of temperature during the production of alkyd varnishes, the change in the "Z" complex resistance of the reaction mass in time is measured in the first stage (the transesterification step). During the synthesis, in parallel with the measurements on the instrument, samples of the reaction mass are taken and laboratory analysis is performed in accordance with the regulations. Required quality parameters of the final product are achieved when the value of the complex resistance of the Z reaction mass is minimal. This indicator is adopted as one of the criteria for completing the first stage of the synthesis of alkyd resins (the stage of transesterification). During the synthesis of alkyd resins, under the influence of temperature, during the production of lacquer in the transesterification stage, the phase angle of the complex resistance of the reaction mass is also measured in time. Magnitude of the phase angle of the complex resistance after a certain time reaches its minimum value and remains stable. In parallel with the measurements on the instrument, samples of the reaction mass are taken and laboratory analysis is carried out in accordance with the regulations. Required qualitative indicators of the final product are achieved when the magnitude of the phase shift angle of the complex resistance of the reaction mass Z is minimal. This indicator is adopted as second criterion for completing the first stage of the synthesis of alkyd resins (the stage of transesterification). Two parameters are used to control the transesterification process as a criterion for completing the transesterification process: the modulus of Zmin complex resistance and the phase angle of the Zmin complex resistance. When these two values are reached, the process of transesterification is considered complete.

EFFECT: technical result of the implementation of the method for controlling the process of transesterification in the production of alkyd lacquers using electrophysical research methods for the entire reaction mass is the receipt of clear criteria for completing the transesterification process.
