SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to control the transesterification stage in the production of alkyd resins by electrophysical methods of analysis. The substance of the invention lies in the fact that in order to control the transesterification stage in the production of alkyd resins by electrophysical methods of analysis, the reaction mass is heated to a temperature of 240-245°C, while the reaction progress is monitored by continuous measurement in time of the current values of the electrophysical parameters of the reaction mass: modulus of the complex resistance Z and the phase shift angle of the complex resistance ϕ° of the reaction mass for two types of resins: AF-033 and alkyd resin 90, then they build the dependence of these parameters on time τ, find the extremum on the dependence graph, which remains quasi-stable for 0.5 h , and from that moment the process is considered completed.

EFFECT: making it possible to obtain clear criteria for the completion of the interesterification process.
