FIELD: microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microbiology and can be used for the primary seeding of a biomaterial isolated from the lower respiratory tract of patients with cystic fibrosis during a microbiological study. Method involves sowing on the surface of cups with 5 % blood agar, chocolate agar, a universal chromogenic medium, selective medium for Burkholderia cepacia (OFPBL-agar) of a homogenized material from the lower respiratory tract of patients with cystic fibrosis using the technique of inoculation with a "stroke" followed by incubation with the specified process parameters with daily viewing of crops. On the surface of Sabouraud agar plates, homogenized material is seeded by plaque method followed by incubation at 28 °C up to 14 days with daily views of crops.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the diagnosis of infectious complications in patients with cystic fibrosis.
