FIELD: microbiology; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical microbiology. What is presented is a method for primary sowing of patient's clinical material for isolating non-tuberculosis micobacteria. Method involves sowing a clinical material without preliminary decontamination on a dense nutrient medium "Uriselect 4", containing 200 ME bacitracin and 300,000 ME polymyxin sulphate per 1,000 ml of the ready medium, with subsequent cultivation of crops at 37 °C for 7 days and further growing crops at 28 °C for 21 days.
EFFECT: invention provides identification of non-tuberculosis micobacteria on universal chromogenic media.
