FIELD: medicine; electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and medicine, specifically electrolyte compositions for use in a biocompatible battery, which include liquid-phase electrolytes designed to optimise biocompatibility, as well as electrical and physical characteristics of the battery. Electrolyte active elements are sealed with a biocompatible material. In some examples, the application field of a biocompatible battery may include any biocompatible device or product that requires energisation elements. Sealed enclosure of the battery case reliably prevents the movement of moisture from the electrolyte to the outside or inside the battery case. Due to the use of an electrolyte in the battery, similar to tears, the activation of the battery device can be carried out under the action of human tear fluid.
EFFECT: improved battery safety and biocompatibility for biomedical devices.
