FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technique, is intended to test a person's reaction to a moving object (RDO). On the table on four vertical racks fix metal inclined guides with gutters with fixing brackets at both ends. Gutters are smoothly curved and have horizontal sections. One metal ball, a moving object, slides down one trough at a given speed. On the second trench with the given speed the second metal ball rolls down – the target mark. Velocities of their movement are set so that the first ball meets the second ball in the horizontal section of the gutters. Subject is placed at an angle of 90° to direction of motion of the balls against the supposed point at which the balls meet. Movement of balls on a horizontal section is removed with a video camera, the image is transferred to a computer. At the moment of the supposed coincidence of the positions of the balls, the subject presses the button, and the computer fixes the position of the balls, calculates the distance between their centers, which is accepted for the evaluation of the RDO.

EFFECT: method ensures the objectivity of DDO estimating in real three-dimensional space.
