FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to plastic, cosmetic surgery, and can be used to correct the base and wings of the nose. Remove excess skin with sickle-shaped incisions along edge (1) and the base of the nostrils according to the shape of the “sailboat”. Both ends of the lower section corresponding to the hull of sailboat (2) are extended by wedge-shaped tails (3, 4). Length of the sides of wedge is 3–5 mm in accordance with the chosen height of attachment of the nostrils and the column of the nose.
EFFECT: method provides expansion of the available area of correction of the wings of the nose, encompassing changes in their thickness, length, bending, place of attachment to the cheek, and also allows you to simultaneously correct the upper lip, reduce postoperative scars due to the use of cuts in the form of “sailboat” and wedge-shaped tails.
