SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the preparation of alkylaluminoxanes by reacting an alkylaluminium with a substituted allylic alcohol of formula
,
where each of the groups R1 and R2 independently represents an aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon group, and R3, R4 and R5 are hydrogen atoms, in the presence of an inert organic solvent. Method uses 0.1–0.8 mol. eq. substituted allylic alcohol based on 1 eq. alkylaluminium. Product obtained by the proposed method is also disclosed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain alkylaluminoxanes in high yield and conversion ratio.
