SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology, medicine, and food industry. Method of obtaining nanocapsules of a dry wormwood extract is characterized by using the alginate of sodium as nanocapsules shell, as the core – dry extract of wormwood, at that the dry extract of wormwood is added to a suspension of sodium alginate in hexane in the presence of 0.01 g of glycerol ester with one to two molecules of dietary fatty acids and one to two molecules of citric acid as a surfactant with stirring at 1,000 rpm, further 1,2-dichloroethane is added, the resulting suspension of the nanocapsules is filtered off and dried at room temperature, wherein the core : shell weight ratio is 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3.
EFFECT: method for obtaining nanocapsules of dry wormwood extract is proposed.
