FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Described a medicament for the treatment of osteomyelitis, including the one that is complicated by a fistulous form and purulent-inflammatory processes of surrounding soft tissues, that is made in the form of a powder consisting of three components: powdered rubidium chloride and semisynthetic antibiotic amikacin (C22H43N5O13) in the form of sulfate, taken in the mass ratio (1–10):3 (taking into account the maximum permissible dose of amikacin sulfate) and synthetic inorganic calcium hydroxyapatite in the form of a powder with a particle size of 50–150 mcm in the amount necessary to completely fill the bone cavity with the proposed agent. Drug quickly enough to stop the inflammation and in the early period provides the formation of bone tissue in the defect zone due to the combined antibacterial, osteoconductive and immunostimulatory effects.
EFFECT: agent can be used in surgery for the treatment of osteomyelitis, resistant to traditional effects.
