FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of objects from composite materials by additive manufacturing methods and can be used for production of articles operating under conditions of high abrasion wear. Method of manufacturing an article from powder material 94WC6Co includes preparing of powder composition by mechanically mixing of particles of Co nanoparticles and WC micron particles with a ratio of fractions sizes of 1:10 and subsequent synthesis of the article from powder composition by selective laser melting with formation of layers with a thickness of 20 mcm. Scanning speed is 100 mm/s, power-weight ratio of laser radiation with wave-length λ=1.07 mcm is 0.0064 W/mcm2.
EFFECT: ensures the production of high-quality articles from powder material 94WC6Co.
