FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine, namely traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used to study the pathogenesis and morphogenesis of the intraarticular impression fracture and to develop surgical treatment methods of impression fracture of the epiphysis of a long bone. To create a model of the intraarticular impression fracture of tibia, closest to the true, four-sided cutting of the bone in the medial condyle of tibia by a diamond metal cutting disc (d = 10 mm, thickness = 1.5 mm), retreating 3–5 mm from the articular surface distally, while the formed rectangular part of the bone is removed by means of the "mosquito" type clamp, and then the fracture and displacement of a part of the condyle are made distally into the area of the bone defect, resulting in an impression fracture with the formation of a bone epimetaphyseal defect.

EFFECT: modeling method is highly reproducible and allows to approximate the model to the real mechanism of development of the pathological process.
