FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for treating impression fractures of the tibial condyles. After repositioning the articular surface through a trepanation passage in the tibial condyle, the defect is restored with cylindrical autologous grafts from the femoral condyle under palpatory and visual control. The first bone column is collapsed by an impactor, and the subsequent ones are inserted without changing the spongious structure thereof.
EFFECT: method allows for the restoration of the defect without excess consumption of bone tissue from the donor site and with maximum preservation of healthy bone tissue in the damaged area, and also allows for the creation of a dense spongious frame in the defect area, wherein said frame strengthens the subchondral plate by collapsing the first bone column inserted through the trepanation passage.
