FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: fuel injection system of the combustion chamber of an engine comprises at least two fuel circuits, devices (4, 5, 6, 7) for dispensing and distributing fuel between the two circuits and means (3) for controlling the devices. One circuit (1) has a constant flow, and other circuit (2) has an intermittent flow. Said circuit with intermittent flow is drainable. Upon receipt of the instruction to fill the circuit with intermittent flow with fuel after draining the circuit with intermittent flow, control means (3) is configured to send a command to devices (4, 5, 6, 7) for dosage and distribution to obtain a predetermined fuel flow rate exceeding the flow rate corresponding to the filling instruction, and for supplying the resulting excess fuel to the circuit with intermittent flow rate for a predetermined time.
EFFECT: invention relates to the injection of fuel into the combustion chamber of an engine, in particular an aircraft engine, and also relates to the fuel supply of the combustion chamber nozzles with a low degree of nitrogen oxide emission.
