FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines (ICE) fuel supply control systems. Disclosed is method of ICE operation, which includes supply of certain amount of fuel from tank 146 accumulation of fuel vapors in cylinder 32 and adjustment of number of fuel injection pulses, supplied into cylinder 32 through fuel injector 66 during cylinder cycle, in response to certain amount of fuel supplied to cylinder during cylinder cycle of from fuel vapors accumulation tank 146. Besides, disclosed is engine control system for implementation of said method.
EFFECT: improved completeness of fuel combustion and reduced formation of scale in engine due to incomplete fuel combustion.
