FIELD: motors and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pumping equipment. Centrifugal pump comprises a straightening device (SD) installed between the screw and impeller. SD is made with a profiled body, sleeve (S) and located between S and the inner surface of the body ten blades (B). SD body is made in the form of a confuser with an inlet groove and an outlet flange for connection, respectively, with a suction pipe and pump body. Generatrix of S outer surface in the longitudinal section consists of two straight lines interconnected by an arc of the circle with the formation of a convex outer surface with input and output conical sections. Straight lines of sections are inclined to SD longitudinal axis at different angles. Inner surface of SD body is formed from the entrance side by a cylindrical surface, smoothly conjugated to a conical surface, and tapered along the flow surface, smoothly conjugated to the output smoothly expanding along the flow surface. S length is less than SD body length. B along SD axis are smoothly bent in the inlet and middle parts from the side of their concave and convex parts along the arc of the circle along the flow of the medium with the direction of the flow at the inlet and outlet at acute angles to SD cross section. B input and output edges in B longitudinal section are formed by an arc of a circle. At the entrance area, each B gradually increases its thickness and at the output section smoothly tapers towards the output edge. S input section is located with a clearance inside SD from the output section of the bore. B entrance edge is inclined to the vertical in the longitudinal section inside the device, in the cross section it is made at an acute angle to the radius of SD body. Longitudinal stiffeners are made on the external surface of SD body, and SD is made in the form of a single piece.

EFFECT: as a result, it is possible to more effectively convert the kinetic energy of a swirling flow of a pumped fluid into increase in the pressure of the flow of the pumped liquid medium and simultaneously increase the anticavitation properties of a centrifugal pump.
