GUIDE DEVICE FOR CENTRIFUGAL MULTI-STAGE PUMP Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC F04D29/44

Abstract RU 2677306 C1

FIELD: pump engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump engineering. Guide device (GD) of the centrifugal multistage pump contains a disk with guide blades (GB) made on one side of the disk, and back blades (BB) made on the other side of the disk. Each GB is conjugated according to the outer diameter of the disk with the corresponding BB with the formation on one side of the disk of guide channels, and on the other, reverse channels communicating with each other. Input edges of GB are located along the circumference with the formation of the input sections of the guide channels, covering with a gap output sections of the channels, formed by the blades of the pump impeller. Entrance section of the GB is made at an acute angle to tangent circle, along which entrance edges of GB are located. In the cross section, the entrance edge of each GB is formed by an arc of a circle smoothly conjugated with circular arcs, forming the input areas of the concave and convex sides of the GB, which are smoothly connected with the arcs of a circle formed, respectively the output section of the convex side of the GB and the middle section of the concave side of the GB. Latter is smoothly connected with the output section of the concave side of the GB formed by the arc of a circle. Length of the arcs formed by the arcs of the convex side of the GB is 2–2.5 times less than that of the concave sides of the GB formed by the arcs of the circle. Radius of the arcs of a circle forming the entrance section of the convex side of the GD is smaller than the radius of the arc of a circle forming the inlet and middle portions of the concave side of the GB. BB output edges are located along circumference with the formation of output sections of return channels. Output section of the BB is made along the radius of the circle formed by the output sections of the BB. In the cross section, the output edge of each BB is formed by an arc of a circle mated with straight lines forming the output portions of the concave and convex sides of the BB. Middle section of the concave and convex sides of the BB is formed by circular arcs. Radius of the arc of a circle forming the middle portion of the convex side of the BB is smaller than the radius of the arc of a circle forming the middle portion of the concave side of the BB. Entrance section of the concave side of the BB is formed by an arc of a circle smoothly connected with the arc of a circle of the middle portion of the concave side of the BB. Entrance section of the convex side of the BB is formed by a straight line, smoothly mated with an arc of a circle, forming the middle section of the convex side of the BB with the formation of the latter in the interface of the return channel projecting inward. GD is designed as a single part with eight GB and BB uniformly spaced around the circumference. Radii passing through the entrance and output edges of each GB, form an angle of 62° up to 64°.

EFFECT: as a result, it is possible to reduce the hydraulic resistance in the flow path of the GD.
